If you have ever wondered the benefits of adding raw food to your diet, this is the right post for you.
I didn’t know how good they were until I became more aware of what eating raw food really means. Sometimes it only takes to read a little bit more and do some research!
May be you haven’t noticed yet, but you probably been eating a few of them… most common are fruits and veggies.
Now let’s talk about raw food diet means, shall we?
It basically means eating more unprocessed and uncooked organic fruits, veggies, seeds, nuts, grains and beans. A food is considered raw if it is uncooked below 116 F.
“The idea behind the diet is to preserve the “life force” of a food. Raw foods are packed with enzymes and possibly more nutrients as a result. Many are also easier to digest because enzymes help aid in digestion. Though this isn’t the case for all raw foods, one thing is for certain: raw foods are packed with dense, unprocessed nutrition that each of us can benefit from, even if we don’t go 100 percent raw.” says One Green Planet.
